- Composite Flame Retardant for Silicone Rubber
Silicone rubber is an elastomer with a -Si-O- inorganic structure in the main chain of the molecule and organic groups in the side chains. It has good biocompatibility, chemical resistance, high temperature resistance, radiation resistance and excellent electrical properties. However, it is quite flammable and once ignited, it burns rapidly and releases large amounts of heat. Its flammability limits its application in various fields. Therefore, it is important to improve the flame retardant properties of silicone rubber.
Alfa Chemistry offers composite flame retardant for silicone rubber that can be used in place of melamine cyanurate and aluminum hydroxide, providing excellent flame retardancy and process performance.

Add 20%-25% of this product for silicone rubber to reach UL 94 V-0 rating. This product is susceptible to moisture and should be placed in a cool, dry place. If the package is found to be broken or damp, dry at 100 ℃±10 ℃ for 2 hours before use.
