Description This product has good processing fluidity, excellent thermal stability and light stability. Because its fineness reaches the nanometer level, it can effectively solve the problems of high density, high addition cost and product quality caused by traditional flame retardants due to large amounts of addition. The shortcomings of severe deterioration of various physical properties, poor compatibility with resin, easy precipitation, blooming and whitening are especially suitable for this product, which fully complies with the EU environmental standards (RoHS) and does not contain polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE).
Purity 0.8
Storage Products are stored in cool, dry conditions.
Acetone Insoluble Matter ≤0.03%
Carrier PE
Color White or light yellow
Decomposition Temperature ≥260 ℃
Feature 1. The addition amount is small and the addition cost is low. It can be directly mixed with PE and processed into finished products, reducing processing links and costs.
2. Fully complies with EU environmental standards (RoHS) and has no dust pollution.
3. High thermal stability, suitable for higher processing temperature situations.
4. The density of the final flame retardant product is ≤1.0, while the density of other bromine flame retardant PE is about 1.3.
5. Good mechanical properties (good compatibility with resin), and all aspects of performance are almost consistent with pure resin.
Flammability UL94 V-0
Form Granules
Notes 1. Adding 3-5% maleic anhydride grafted PE compatibilizer can improve the flame retardant performance and other mechanical properties.
2. Different PEs have different melt indexes, and the optimal addition ratio of flame retardant masterbatch is also slightly different. When the optimal addition ratio is exceeded, the greater the addition amount, the worse the flame retardant effect. The higher the melt index, the better. It is recommended to use melt Refers to PE materials above 8.
3. Appropriate addition of 5-15% talc powder or talc masterbatch can greatly reduce costs and enhance the effect, but it will affect the flame retardant effect. The addition ratio of flame retardant masterbatch should be adjusted appropriately.
4. If recycled materials are used, the addition ratio of flame retardant masterbatch should also be adjusted appropriately.
Processing Temperature ≥200℃
Recommended Dosage LDPE: <12%
HDPE: <15%
Volatiles ≤0.3% (105℃/2hr)
