Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is an unusual plastic with a higher chlorine content than most other plastics and therefore has excellent flame retardant properties. However, many plasticizers added in the processing of PVC can significantly reduce its flame retardant function, making flame retardant treatment necessary.

Advantages

Usage and Dosage

PVC wire and cable products manufactured with it have high oxygen index, can pass the VW-1 flammability test.
