Application | Aluminum Hydroxide nanoparticle is used as a fire retardant and fire retandant filler. It decomposes at 180°C and absorb heat releasing water vapor. It is used as smoke suppressant in many polymers. In medicine, aluminum hydroxide nanoparticles are also used as antacid. It reacts with excess acid in the stomach and reduce its acidity. |
