Description This product is a kind of soil-like mineral composed of nanometer-thick silicate sheets with negatively charged surface, which are stacked together by electrostatic interaction between the layers. The unit cell in its crystal structure is composed of two layers of silicon-oxygen tetrahedron. It consists of a layer of aluminum-oxygen octahedron sandwiched in the middle. It has a unique one-dimensional layered nanostructure and cation exchange properties, which endow montmorillonite with many possibilities for modification and expansion of application fields.
Appearance Multidimensional crystal, pure white powder with slippery feeling.
Application Montmorillonite modified in different ways has strong adsorption capacity and good dispersion performance, and can be widely used in the polymer material industry as an additive for nano-polymer polymer materials to improve impact resistance, fatigue resistance, dimensional stability and Gas barrier properties, etc., so as to enhance the comprehensive physical properties of the polymer, while improving the material processing properties.
Feature Good whiteness, good color fixing effect, synergistic flame retardant, smoke suppression, deodorization, over-glow wire. It has obvious and enhanced effect on red phosphorus flame retardant, smoke suppression and deodorization.
Notes Synergistic flame retardant, especially suitable for red phosphorus synergistic flame retardant and deodorization
